What’s it about? “A pair of aging con men try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment — to kill his comrade.” —IMDB
Who made it? Director: Fisher Stevens. Writer: Noah Haidle.
Who’s in it? Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin, Julianna Margulies.
When’s it coming out? December 14, 2012 (Limited Release).
Why do I want to see it?
- Because I like the angle of old con men reuniting. I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen a film from this perspective.
- Because it looks like most of the movie takes place over the course of one night, and I love that!
- Because the trailer makes it seem like that movie will be fun and entertaining but also have heart.
- Because I want to see the three leads (Pacino, Walken and Arkin) act together.
- Because I’m curious if Fisher, The Plague, Stevens can direct. (Hack the planet!! [By the way, see the movie Hackers if you haven’t already.])
How much do I want to see it? (On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being I have to see this and 1 being Okay, I’ll see it) 3: I want to see this, and I’d pay to see it at the theater, but I won’t be sad if I have to wait for DVD.
Where’s the trailer already?
Anything else? Nope. Move it along.
